I am proud to be a lifelong resident of Kings County, and it is truly an honour to serve my third term as Councillor for District 9.
With a background in education as an industrial arts teacher for 30 years, I’ve seen firsthand how important it is to invest in our community’s future. Now, as a homeowner, parent, and grandparent, I am deeply committed to ensuring that Kings County remains a wonderful place to raise a family for generations to come.
None of us can accomplish our goals alone – whether raising a family, running a business, or shaping the future of our community. As your Councillor for District 9, I will continue to work hard every day to ensure that your voice is heard, your concerns are addressed, and our shared vision for a thriving community becomes a reality.
District 9 includes the vibrant communities of Avonport, Bishopville, Forest Hill, Gaspereau, Grand Pré, Greenfield, Hants Border, Hortonville, Lockhartville, Melanson, Newtonville, Robinson Corner, Wallbrook, West Brooklyn and White Rock. We are also proud to have Glooscap First Nation within our District.
Every day, I look forward to the opportunity to engage with residents and make a real difference. Whether it’s working with local boards and organizations, or advocating for funding to support vital community projects, my commitment to this district is unwavering.
The pride that District 9 residents have in their community is inspiring. I see it in the many volunteers who dedicate their time to improving the lives of their neighbours and ensuring a better future for our children and grandchildren. Through my work as your Councillor, I share this pride and strive to keep that momentum going – moving forward into another term of service with your continued trust and support.
Together, we can make District 9 an even better place to live, work, and grow.
