I reside in Somerset (District 3) with my wife Natasha (Nurse at Valley Regional Hospital) and 2 young children Lainey and Luke.
I have been employed at the Kings Regional Rehabilitation Centre (Program Coordinator) for the past 26 years supporting individuals with cognitive, intellectual and/or physical challenges. I also operate Old Hickory Buildings of Berwick and understand some of the challenges that small business owners face.
Volunteering
Giving back to our community has always been a cornerstone of my life. I’ve had the honor to serve with the Berwick and District Fire, Special Olympics Nova Scotia, River Watch Nova Scotia, and Wildlife Habitat Advocates. More recently, I’ve contributed to Western Valley Minor Hockey (2022-2024), coached Berwick Rally Caps (T-Ball), Coached Somerset girls soccer teams (5 yrs), Somerset U11 boys’ soccer in 2023 and coached the Somerset U13 boys in 2024. Each of these roles has deepened my connection to the community and reinforced my commitment to fostering the growth and well-being of our youth.
As Councillor for District 3, I am driven by a vision of accountability, transparency, and genuine engagement with all residents. Leadership is about being visible, approachable, and most importantly, listening to the concerns and aspirations of the people and acting on them.
