Demolition
Demolition permits are required to help ensure that buildings are dismantled in
a safe manner. This process includes making sure that debris is directed to an appropriate
location, asbestos issues are considered, the utilities are disconnected and that
professional demolition practices are followed. Demolition Permits also initiate
an adjustment to the tax assessment.
Prior to any demolition work, the contractor or owner is to inspect the structure
for the presence of asbestos.
Application Requirements:
A completed Demolition Permit must be submitted in person, along with the demolition
permit application fee.
Application Fees:
Demolition of a building or structure $30.00.

Applications can be made at the Municipal office.
