Dog Licensing

Dog licenses are affordable, available online, and ensure that we can contact you if your pet becomes lost or injured. The Municipality of the County of Kings offers four easy ways to register your pet.

Online using PAYMENTUS, the secure online bill payment system.
Online with the option of sending your payment in by mail or paying at the Municipal office.
Online using Interac e-transfer at etransfer@countyofkings.ca.
In person at any of the following regional offices:

Once your online payment has been received your pet license will be mailed out to you.

Registration Charges

$10 for dogs spayed or neutered
$30 for dogs that are not spayed or neutered
$50 for kennels*

Spayed and Neutered Registrants may be required to provide written proof from a veterinarian or certify in writing at time of registration that the dog has been spayed or neutered.

The registration fee shall be reduced by 50% in the year of acquisition where the owner acquires ownership of the dog after June 30th. You will be required to provide evidence that you aquired the dog after this date.

*Kennel Registration is not available online.
*Service dogs must be registered at the municipal office.
