Summer Maintenance of Kings County Roads
Kings County currently provides summer road maintenance services through contract services. The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal provides summer maintenance to a number of J class roads for Kings County which are provided under a separate service agreement.

Winter Maintenance of Kings County Roads
Kings County currently provides winter road maintenance services through contract services. The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal provides winter maintenance to a number of J class roads for Kings County which are provided under a separate service agreement.

Please note that apart from the exceptions listed in the Provincial Roads list, all other roads are the year round responsibility of the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal (DTIR). Contact names and numbers are as follows:

Maintenance of Kings County Sidewalks
The Municipality of the County of Kings maintains sidewalks outside of village boundaries. Concerns regarding the maintenance of sidewalks within villages should be directed to the appropriate Village contact listed below. 

Summer and winter maintenance of Municipal sidewalks are performed by contract services.
