The Annapolis Valley Health Authority manages and provides health care services in the Annapolis Valley. It is made up of five locations two hospitals and three health centres.
The Annapolis Valley Regional Library was created in 1949 and is one of nine Nova Scotia Library Systems. There are five branch libraries located in communities throughout Kings County. The rural areas of the Annapolis Valley are serviced by a bookmobile.
Kings County is a great place to move to further your education. Having one of Canada's top Universities being Acadia in Wolfville and also a Nova Scotia Community College campus in Kentville ensures that there are schools to match most everyone's educational needs.
