Swimming Area at Aylesford Lake Public Beach Reopened June 17

On June 17, Municipal staff determined it is safe to reopen the swimming area of Aylesford Lake Public Beach following a temporary closure due to a suspected sighting of blue-green algae on June 12. There will not be lifeguards on duty June 17, but beach goers will be allowed to use the swimming area at their own risk.
