Aylesford Lake Beach Reopening Today July 06

Aylesford Lake Public Beach is open again as of July 6, after water tests confirmed bacteria levels are back to safe standards following a June 30 closure. The Municipality's paddle loans program has also resumed regular operations.

Aylesford Lake Public Beach, Boat Launch and Paddle Loans Program Closed July 2

The Aylesford Lake Public Boat Launch, Aylesford Lake Public Beach and the Municipality's paddle loan sites are all closed July 2 due to an ongoing response to a serious incident that occurred at Aylesford Lake July 1. RCMP are on site and asking members of the public to avoid the area to give responders space to focus on an ongoing search. An update regarding the site closures will be shared on the Municipality's website when it is time to reopen the sites.
